Ever wonder why I’m so funny?

‘Cause I got the best comedy teacher there is!

My Aunty Marilyn (a.k.a. Marilyn Sokol) has been called: “a marvel” by The New York Times, “hilarious” by The LA Times, and “lethally funny” by The Village Voice.

She’s appeared on Off Broadway, Broadway and television and in major motion pictures, like Foul Play, with Goldie Hawn.

And when she’s not teaching her craft at Lehman College, she’s giving private and group acting lessons — mostly to people.

And go to YouTube.com and type Marilyn Sokol in the search box and you can see clips of her acting, singing, voice overs and being interviewed about it all. Here are two of my Aunty Marilyn faves on YouTube.

Click here to see her scene-stealing turn with Goldie Hawn in 1978’s Foul Play.

Click here to see a classic Electric Company animated cartoon by my Uncle Bruce Cayard. Marilyn does the voice of the title character — Myrna.
